Amodei, Altman and Musk call for a slowdown. The chips take it.

On Monday 14 September AI leaders called for a coordinated slowdown in frontier model development. Chip stocks and the leveraged chip funds fell hard, the 10-year Treasury yield touched 5% for the first time since 2007, and Netflix, whose capital goes into shows rather than silicon, rose 4%.
